Dogma (Bakery that is)

Henley's weekend started off with a trip to Dogma Bakery in Shirlington. We've been there often, but this time we had a gift certificate to spend courtesy of NOVADog Magazine.

We won this wonderful prize by participating in NOVADog's Blogathon to raise money for canine cancer research. It was a great cause and a great prize since Henley loves the peanut butter ice cream chip from Dogma. As you can see from the picture, he also got a bully stick (well, 6 actually).

We sent NOVADog and Dogma the picture above to thank them and show them how happy we were with our treats. Dogma was so pleased, they posted us to their Facebook page.

After his trip to Dogma and the devouring of his first bully stick, Henley needed to nap and proceeded to do so on Hunter's foot. This is the Shiba form of snuggling. The funny thing is, I'm the one whose feet are always cold, but Henley never seems amenable to being my foot warmer. Go figure. Maybe he was just reading the Sports Illustrated next to him and got bored.....

I'll leave you with an image I took of Henley this morning. We came in from our second walk and he promptly plopped down to sunbathe. What a handsome boy. It's very hard to leave when he gives you that face. :)
